Tonic Breed Unleashes 'Name Dealer' with Legendary Collaborators
Norwegian metal powerhouse Tonic Breed, the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Patrik K. Svendsen, is back with a vengeance. The one-man metal force has unleashed a blistering new single titled 'Name Dealer,' featuring the thunderous drumming of rock legend Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne) and the shredding prowess of Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake) on lead guitar. This high-octane track is a testament to Svendsen's relentless quest for innovation in the heavy metal scene.
Following the earlier 2026 release of 'Close In,' which showcased the talents of Charlie Engen (Five Finger Death Punch), Svendsen continues to redefine his sound and push the boundaries of collaboration. The transformation of Tonic Breed into a solo project in 2019 has paved the way for a series of groundbreaking releases, and 'Name Dealer' is no exception. Svendsen himself notes, “I haven’t followed the same path as the previous release. Because of that, I think this song will once again come as a surprise to fans.”
'Name Dealer' hits the ground running, launching with an explosive force that grips the listener from the first note and never lets go. The track showcases a unique blend of razor-sharp riffing and a catchy chorus, a departure from the typical Tonic Breed sound that keeps fans guessing. This single was meticulously crafted across three different locations in Norway and the United States, mixed and co-produced by Adrian Bjerketvedt, who also added atmospheric keys to deepen the track’s sonic landscape.
For Svendsen, collaborating with Aldridge and Hoekstra is a significant milestone in the evolution of Tonic Breed. “It’s an absolute honor to have Tommy Aldridge and Joel Hoekstra on this song. Their performances exceeded all expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the result,” he shares. This collaboration underscores the respect and admiration Svendsen has for his peers, elevating 'Name Dealer' to a remarkable new height.
The track's music video premiered exclusively through BraveWords, and it’s a must-see for metal enthusiasts. Don’t forget to subscribe to BraveWords Records on YouTube to stay updated with future releases from the metal elite like Alcatrazz, Bangalore Choir, and more.
