John Corabi, the former MÖTLEY CRÜE vocalist and current frontman of THE DEAD DAISIES, is set to launch his debut full-length solo album entitled 'New Day' on April 24, 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl. Recently, he unveiled the official music video for the second single from the album, 'When I Was Young'.
The song reflects on an aging man's reflections shared in conversation with his son, incorporating a mix of acoustic and electric guitars along with mandolin and an upbeat tone. Prior to this, Corabi released the album’s lead single and video for 'New Day', which showcases a fusion of intimate acoustic passages and elaborate rock arrangements inspired by the sounds of classic rock bands like Boston and Queen.
Recorded in Nashville during the summer of 2025, the album features production by Marti Frederiksen, who brings experience from working with Aerosmith and Ozzy Osbourne. The record includes contributions from notable musicians such as Guns N' Roses guitarist Richard Fortus and Blackberry Smoke's Charlie Starr. The collection of songs highlights Corabi's distinctive vocals and songwriting, combining classic 1970s rock influences with soulful and blues elements.
Beyond the music itself, Corabi plans to support the album with a European tour beginning in early 2026, followed by additional performances through the spring and summer. This project marks a significant personal milestone for Corabi, emphasizing authenticity and passion through its melodic style and heartfelt themes.
With a career spanning over three decades, including stints with UNION and RATT, Corabi has built a reputation as a versatile singer-songwriter and guitarist. His solo work now adds to an extensive catalogue and includes new material that recalls the classic rock era while offering a modern, organic sound.
