APOSENTO (Spain) Bleed to Death out June 12, 2017

Aposento APOSENTO was formed in Logroño, Spain in 1990 featuring Manolo (guitar), Diego (drums), Santi Herreros (bass), Santi "Potros" (vocals), and León (guitar). In 1991, the band recorded their first demo, Bloody Ritual, which was released in early 1992. That year, they played in a festival in Nájera, Spain with other bands like Unbounded Terror, Beer Mosh, and Doomsday. After that, León left the band and José “Pispas” replaced him, and with that new formation, they played some concerts, amongst them with thrashers Estigia. The band recorded another demo, Eternal Agony, which was released in 1993 and then the band changed the lineup again.

After those changes, the band featured Manolo (guitar), Charly (guitar), Mamen [ex-Vulpes] (bass), Tenor (vocals) and Colowati (drums). Throughout 1993, APOSENTO played a few festivals like the one that was performed in Zaragoza with bands like Death, Anacrusis, and Beer Mosh. After more concerts and mini-tours around Spain, in December 1994, APOSENTO played at the Demolition Festival with another national bands like Unnatural, Levial, Hellbound, Desecrate, and Hemorragia as well as international bands like Cannibal Corpse, Desultory, and Samael. In 1995, APOSENTO recorded the mini-CD Welcome to Darkness, which was relased in 1997, and after that and a few concerts and member changes, the band
finally was dissolved.

APOSENTO returned in the year 2012 with some old members and two new ones: Manolo (guitar), Pispas (guitar), Diego (drums), Nacho (vocals), and Manu (bass). They released the mini-CD, Retorno a la Muerte, through Spain's Death Metal Records and started to play shows around Spain at the same time that they were writing new song for an upcoming full-kength album. At the end of 2013, they returned to the studio to record what would be the first full-length album of the band, simply entitled Aposento. In 2014, APOSENTO signs with XTREEM MUSIC, who released this full-length in May 2014.

One year later, new vocalist Mark Berserk joined the band. During that year and until late 2016, the band played intensively throughout the whole Spanish territory as well as Portugal, sharing the stage with bands like Avulsed, Cannibal Corpse, Benediction, Sinister, God Macabre, Bloody Brotherhood, etc. In summer 2016, APOSENTO underwent severe lineup changes, recruiting new drummer Gabri, who replaced Diego, and guitarist Pispas left the band, with the band remaining as a four-piece. In January 2017, APOSENTO entered the studio to record their second full-length, Bleed to Death, which was later mixed and mastered in Germany at Soundlodge Studios by Jörg Uken who previously worked with bands like Sinister, God Dethroned, Dew-Scented, and Suicidal Angels among others. It is now set for international release on June 12th again through XTREEM MUSIC.
