DRUDKH stream split album with GRIFT

drudkh Enigmatic black metal band DRUDKH are streaming 'Betrayed By The Sun / Hägringar', their new split album with Sweden's GRIFT.

As he has done through the band's history to date, DRUDKH mastermind Roman Sayenko looks to national poets for inspiration. Lyrical themes are built on the work of Bohdan-Ihor Antonych (1909–1937) in "His Twenty-Fourth Spring", while "Autumn in Sepia" features passages from Mike Johansen (1895–1937). Musically the split is in the classic DRUDKH style, but with an emphasis on the rich detail in their signature melodies.

The split album is streaming now at the official DRUDKH Bandcamp page.

'Betrayed By The Sun / Hägringar' will be released worldwide on Sept. 16. Pre-orders for the split are available at the Season of Mist E-Shop. The artwork of and track list for 'Betrayed By The Sun / Hägringar' can be viewed below:

"...A quartet gladly cooperating for an exhilarating half an hour. At most any point here, don't be surprised to find your fist in the air, your foot tapping on the floor, or your mind somehow pulling for the conclusion of some dramatic quest. It's that good." - Pitchfork

“...The kind of blast-beaten, atmospheric, gloomy synth-laden black metal that speeds through grey forests on a pack of wolves.” - NPR
