HomerRobHalford.jpg With over 600 episodes, the unstoppable Simpsons are a subculture all their own with enough lore to inspire art and music for decades. In this article we look at out top 5 Simpsons inspired Metal Bands. Here they are:

#5 Dr. Colossus.

Evergreen Terrace (renamed Homer Simpson Boulevard in a deleted scene) is the street where the Simpsons live.

#2 The Christ Punchers
Homer wins a free motorcycle in this episode. He starts a motorcycle gang and calls a meeting where the following dialogue ensues:

Homer: The first meeting of Hell's Satan's comes to order.
Flanders: I move that we reconsider our club name. Make it something a little less blasphemous. After all we don't want to go to hell.
Lenny: How about the Devil's Pals.
Flanders: No, see-
Moe: Or the Christ Punchers!
