Two Men With Swords Charged For Stealing An AC/DC CD


Power Metal fans Two armed men who allegedly robbed a Masterton, New Zealand couple made off with a single AC/DC CD, according to police.

Police were called in to serve a search warrant in Masterton yesterday in which the two men were arrested and a sword and machete seized.

As a result of the search Peter Tapine, 37, presser, of Masterton and Jackson Huata, 47, unemployed of Masterton, appeared in the Masterton District Court before Justice of the Peace John Bunny and were remanded in custody to appear again on November 8.

They were charged with robbery at a Masterton house on October 20 while armed with an offensive weapon, being a sword.

The charge alleges the two men robbed a Masterton couple of an AC/DC compact disc.

There is no word whether the CD was recovered.
