The NILE Interview That Wasn't

Nile (2012) I have always been proud of the quality of interviews The Gauntlet has consistently put out, even from our Texas based scribe Brutal Brandy. But every once in a while, an interview comes in that just doesn't live up to the lofty standards of this site.

Brandy recently interviewed Nile vocalist Karl Sanders at the San Antonio stop of the tour. I don't know if it was her nerves from being in front of one of her idols or she had an off day. Normally in a situation like this, I'd heavily edit the interview or pull out a couple clips and use them as news and none would be the wiser. I am sure that is what Brandy expected. But life is full of the unexpected so she needs to deal with it. Instead I chose to place thought bubbles for what Karl Sanders must have been thinking at various points during the interview. You can check it out below.

Nile will be releasing At The Gate Of Sethu on July 3 via Nuclear Blast Records.
