WHAT: DimeBash 2011 – Fellow musicians pay homage to one of metal’s beloved fallen heroes by performing songs either written by or that were an inspiration to Dimebag Darrell. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up & Shout Cancer Fund.

Last year’s DimeBash contained an all-star line-up of Hard Rock and Metal titans that shared the stage, including: Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Simon Wright from Dio, Brent Smith, Zach Myers and Eric Bass of Shinedown, Kerry King and Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel of Machine Head, Chuck Billy from Testament, Chris Howorth and Maria Brink of In This Moment, the legendary Lemmy of Motorhead and many others.

DimeBash 2011 will no doubt be another notch on the spiked leather guitar strap of Metal’s legendary events, all in celebration of one of the most influential artists in the genre! Stay tuned for more info to come!
