New record to be titled " Taste Of Death "

Tampa bay's Thrash/Death Metal band GENERICHRIST is in the early stages of writing and recording their full length titled ' Taste Of Death ' that will be released later in the year on Philadelphia's Horror Pain Gore Death Productions . GENERICHRIST founder and vocalist Tony Anderson( Cemetery Slut , Skin Tomb ) has reported the " Taste Of Death " record will feature ten or eleven tracks filled with the bands signature Thrash/Death and scum punk sound. The record will also have a guest appearance by horror Icon Bill Moseley who appeared on the bands last EP " Strangulation Of A Twisted Mind " earlier in the year and also appeared on their 7 " split with Ohio Punk rock/Noise outfit Fascist Insect . "There is no release date set in stone yet but Chris Maraman has already layed down some of the drums and Loucks has started tracking the guitar so the blood is flowing " said Anderson . The bands last EP came out on AreaDeath Productions out of China in January of 2011 titled " Strangulation Of A Twisted Mind " and was a limited release .

The " Taste of Death " record will also welcome the return of guitarist Dave Sawyer ( DTR , AFTERDEATH, CONTORTED )and bassist Ed Webb ( DTR ,CONTORTED, DIABOLIC , BRUTALITY ) who has both been in GENERICHRIST years prior Dave Sawyer in 2009 and Ed Webb who had done shows with the band in 2009 and 2010 . This will be Webb's first recording with GENERICHRIST and the second for Sawyer who also appeared on the 2009 split with Philadelphia's Mental Funeral on Horror Pain Gore Death / Rivot Rag Records .
