SWASHBUCKLE aims to pillage and plunder on the Panic Over North America Tour

Swashbuckle Avast ye bilge rats! Who says pirates no longer exist? Like a billowing sea breeze, Mercer County, New Jersey's own SWASHBUCKLE is raising sails to pillage the continent this summer on the Panic Over North America Tour alongside Soilwork and Death Angel.

SWASHBUCKLE has made a name for itself by combining rapier-edged thrash metal with piratical humor, as exemplified on its most recent Nuclear Blast Records release, Back To the Noose. On the upcoming tour, the band plans to introduce some music from its upcoming third full-length of nautical nonsense, Crime Always Pays, which they are currently wrapping in the studio.

A traditional SWASHBUCKLE stage show usually includes period costumes, palm trees, parrots, and foam swords that are often tossed into the crowd to enact mosh-pit duels! As vocalist/bassist Admiral Nobeard prophesizes, "It's gonna be a fierce summer tour of retardation, fun, and metal! So ye best be coming out, for we'll be punchin' yar eardrums in with a oneshot blast of piratical metal mayhem. Hollar for a dollar, let's thrash!"

SWASHBUCKLE will then end the summer with a romp across Europe on the pagan/folk metal-driven Heidenfest 2010 tour. And then, on January 24, the band embarks on a tailor-made concert experience, the 70.000 Tons of Metal cruise which sails from Miami, FL to Cozumel, Mexico, and returns to Miami on January 28. More info on the cruise can be found at: www.70000tons.com

A much-needed kick-to-the-backside to the music industry, SWASHBUCKLE adds tankards of rum-soaked mirth and mayhem in an otherwise deadpan metal scene!
