German melodic metallers Edguy have announced the release date for upcoming album "Rocket Ride" and their first tour dates of 2006

German melodic metallers Edguy have announced a 2006 European tour, kicking off in Switzerland in Februrary. The tour will contain "the biggest stage production we have had up to now," according to the band's website. The band have also announced that their much anticipated album, "Rocket Ride," will be released in January 2006. A full list of tour dates are as follows:
