Suffocation post new video clip online

Suffocation (2008) New York based extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION have uploaded a video clip for the track "Cataclysmic Purification" below. The footage was directed by David Brodsky (ARSIS, GOD FORBID, KATAKLYSM, SWASHBUCKLE) with animation by Tim Kellen. When asked about the new track and their soon to be released 6th full-length album "Blood Oath," SUFFOCATION bassist Derek Boyer stated:

"'Cataclysmic Purification' audibly portrays a calamitous future approaching. With this song and the rest of the album I think we've maintained the musical integrity of the band while still having comprehensible brutality. 'Blood Oath' combines straight forward crushing movements with unsuspecting twists that will certainly entertain everyone from the avid SUFFOCATION listener to the 1st time innocent bystanders."

SUFFOCATION recently announced their co-headlining tour of Latin America with NAPALM DEATH. The band will be touring in support of their Nuclear Blast debut Blood Oath, which was released in July 2009, in May of 2010.
