LITURGY Take Part In NYC's Blackened Weekend

New York's transcendental black metal outfit LITURGY will perform two hometown shows this weekend, both as part of the Blackened Music Series' own Blackened Weekend.

New York's transcendental black metal outfit LITURGY will perform two hometown shows this weekend, both as part of the Blackened Music Series' own Blackened Weekend. The first of the two shows is tonight (November 13th) at Union Pool, alongside Malkuth, Orphan and their brethren Krallice. Their 2nd performance takes place Sunday at the posh Le Poisson Rouge alongside Rwake and the almighty supergroup Shrinebuilder, on one of their first live shows ever.

LITURGY also recently confirmed their appearance at the upcoming launch party for the black metal documentary Until The Light Takes Us, December 3rd at NYC's Fontana's.

LITURGY's debut full-length Renihilation was released earlier this year by 20 Buck Spin. The album was was recorded and mastered at the Thousands Caves Of Menegroth with Colin Marston of Krallice at the helm.
