Lacrimas Profundere Singer Quits

Lacrimas Profundere Singer Christopher Schmid has left the German gothic rockers LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE due to personal reasons.

"I don't feel that I can combine the permanent stress (brought about by touring, concerts and general uncertainties of the music business) with my 'normal' life and my future," Schmid said in a statement.

Although the rest of the band is sad about Christopher's decision to leave the group, they are happy about the fact that Christopher has offered to carry on with LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE as a lyricist and songwriter. The "LACRIMAS sound" will not change, because the brothers Oliver and Christopher will continue to collaborate as before, and Christopher will even add some of his vocal lines to the next album.
