The Good News

There is a silver lining to the storm-cloud that is this years presidential election and terribly volatile political climate. While the two "major party" choices offer no real substantial difference when it comes to following the Rule of Law and the Constitution, there is reason for some hope. After having the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, a series of interventionist wars, and tons of other nightmare legislation rammed through without consent of the governed, We the People put up great defense against the Wall Street Bailout package, which failed in the first attempt. Although this is hardly a smashing success, it is evidence that when the people make their voice heard, Washington D.C. has no choice but listen. Click here to read more and comment
