The Gauntlet: Barry's Dangerous Truths

"Rally for the Republic" Event in MN Threatens Republican and Democratic National Conventions

Jeffersonian liberalism is back in a big way! Do not confuse this with modern American “liberalism”, which is authoritarian socialism. The Jeffersonian brand is one of recognition of absolute natural rights inherit from birth. While the elites have managed to confuse Americans into believing that natural rights include the right to wealth reassignment, being spied on, and politically educating abroad by force, the limitless freedom of the internet is breaking the back of the tyrants. Youtube videos and alternative media blogs are reaching critical mass with evidence, once again, of the failures of these institutions.

The renaming of old concepts to make them feel modern, such as referring to “taking over the world” as “inevitable globalism” work less and less by the day. Texas recently passed a resolution promising no new highway projects in the State House of Representatives, after fear that there may be incremental steps to merging Mexico, Canada, and the United States into one new sovereign.

Skepticism of government power and its corruptibility is BACK, and it has an energy peak coming soon. Political junkies this year and the last tuned into the Presidential campaigns, expecting the same old drivel, only to be shocked by seeing candidates speaking truth to power. Dennis Kucinich refused to let his Democrat counterparts get away with platitudes about funding the illegal war in Iraq. Mike Gravel exposed Obama and Clinton’s political code-words for having a foreign policy which considered it morally acceptable to make a nuclear first-strike on a foreign nation. Ron Paul rose from complete unknown to massive political powerhouse by simply standing up for the idea of gradually returning America to a time when we evaluated our policy by whether or not we are following the Constitution and the rule of law.

Soon an explosion happened. Alternative candidates and third parties flooded with money and grassroots support. The Republican Party imploded. The Democratic Party became the establishment party, lead by platitudinous warmongers like Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi. Insurgent Republican campaigns, such as that by B.J. Lawson for Congress in North Carolina adopted fiscally conservative, anti-war platforms and won their primaries, drawing in huge sums of money from small donors, sick of what they are getting. A Revolution exploded from the people against true Civil Rights abuses such as suspending the writ of habeas corpus, wiretapping, and the Patriot Act. Once establishment Republican Bob Barr went rogue and became the Libertarian Candidate for President, finally understanding the advice of the founders against legislating morality; it not only doesn’t work, but leads to religious persecution. The Christian Conservative groups left the Republican Party, and are now more or less a disorganized free agent, either sitting out the election, splitting up, or voting third party.

Finally the grass roots organization of the Establishment is broken. The only last vestige of their power, which will work for the last time in this Presidential election, is their controlled corporate media. It too, is on the way out, considered less trustworthy and more trivial than internet coverage. Along comes the “Rally for the Republic”, Ron Paul’s response to be forced out of his own Republican National Convention despite being one of the most powerful forces in his Party. Rather than whine about how he doesn’t get a fair shake, he rents out the Target Center, brings in speakers and musical guests, and invites the entire United States to come join him in his Revolution for the symbolic cost-covering ticket price of 17.76$. While the Republicans will be across town in St. Paul begrudgingly electing the warmongering Democrat John McCain to their Presidential ticket, fielding speakers giving platitudes about false conservative values, and the DNC fake hypes their Hollywood pretty boy inside a convention center outside of which radical groups hope to “Recreate ‘68" riots over dissatisfaction with the Democrat controlled Congress refusing to exercise its authority to end the Iraq occupation, Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, and thousands of Americans will gather together to elect officers and create an organization called the Campaign for Liberty, whose goal will be the long-term conversion of the United States of America from an Empire back to a Republic.

Much like their 10,000 man march on Washington D.C., protesting interventionist war, out of control spending, and violation of Constitutional oaths, expect the media not to mention the event ever happened. It threatens the very foundation of their being to see an uprising of Constitutionalism in the American People. Alas, the damage, however, already has been done. The three-to-five percent of the population necessary to create change has already awoken, and they are hellbent on waking everyone else up. Congress, the President, and the media have no more trust to squander. It is now inevitable that this Revolution occur.
