Nemost Bio

If Nemost's music really has to be labeled, it could be described as melodic death metal with progressive and atmospheric hints. From bewitching arpeggios to catchy riffs, the Parisian band delivers a real sound breaker. The journey might be somewhat harsh, yet always compelling, moving and above all genuine.

Since their 2008 eponymous demo greatly welcomed by the critic, Nemost have been constantly progressing. The release of their self-produced full-length album The Shadow's Trail in March 2010 came up to the expectations of many webzines as well as magazines like Metallian and RockHard which have promoted them as « breakthrough of the month » in their summer issue. In August they signed a deal with Great Dane Records for this first opus, thus being distributed in France, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

Following this first contract, Nemost have enjoyed numerous endorsements: Bogner Amplifications, Fernandes Guitars, Velvet Cymbals, Aquarian Drumheads and Cympad. Furthermore, the music video of the song Sardanapale is regularly being broadcasted on MTV Pulse. Already working on their second effort, Nemost are striving to create their own sound, and to establish themselves as one of the rising force of the French metal scene.
