The Gauntlet: MVM

MVM Bio

MVM   Band Members

Kraig Marshall - lead vocals / programming

Steven Bishop - bass / vocals

Ted Delgrego - guitar / vocals

Chad Anthony - drums / vocals

Subgenres:

MVM was formed in April 2001 in Bergen County, NJ. Former lead vocalist of N17, Kraig Marshall (lead vocals/programming), Steven Bishop (bass / vocals), Ted Delgrego (guitar / vocals) and Chad Anthony (drums / vocals) teamed up and collaborated years of musical and tour experience to create an energetic, intelligent, new and catchy hybrid of music. They combined punk rock with industrial, rap with metal, and pop with hardcore in an attempt to mix the best elements of all the worlds they enjoy.

The members of MVM have been touring in various bands for over ten years. In past years the members have blazed trails relentlessly through two countries, including dates all over the U.S.A. and Canada, and have had the honor of sharing stages with The Misfits, Type O Negative, Mindless Self Indulgence, Danzig, Kittie, Skinlab, S.O.D., Cradle of Filth, Earth Crisis, and many other amazing bands.

Since then MVM has been following a well thought out plan of attack, spider webbing their music and message out through use of hardcore promotion, and street teams. MVM's first full length release, "EVOLVER" is currently available in select record stores nationwide.

    Hardcore Annal Sects

As Nirvana's Nevermind album was breaking nationally, the group was invited to appear on MTV's Saturday night heavy metal show Headbanger's Ball. Pretending to take the show's title literally, Kurt Cobain went on the air dressed in a ruffly pink ball gown
