Under the Flood is a hard rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia. The band's ties extend back to their high school days. Making their story even better is the fact that the members of the band had no idea that one day they would come together and synergize their musical talents and ideas.

Under the Flood's formation begins with guitarist, Matt Nadolski. After high school, Matt's drive for music kept him busy writing heavy guitar lines intertwined with melodic riffs. The need to fulfill his musical desire did not cease as a solo artist. He called upon lead guitarist and longtime friend, John McCleary, to kick the music into high gear. John and Matt had jammed with one another during their teenage years and clearly understood each other's style. John had spent years honing his skills as both a precise rhythm player, and simply put, a shredding mastermind. His approach to music, matched with Matt's rip-roaring style, made Under the Flood's guitar work innovative and dominant.

During their early years of collaboration the guitar duo did not realize how much of an impact they had made upon Matt's younger brother, Dave. Music was instilled in Dave at such a young age that his growth as a singer and lyricist has been enormous. Through studying voice, and being part of the local music scene, Dave realized he wanted to take his vocal career to a higher level. Teaming up with his brother and John was the perfect fit.

The trio turned their attention to Kenn Davis and invited him to join the band. Once again, Matt knew Kenn during their teenage years, when Kenn shared the stage with American Idol's own Chris Daughtry in the popular band, Cadence. After Cadence disbanded, Kenn remained active playing music, but had not found a permanent home until the call came from Under the Flood. Kenn's high energy bass playing and blistering live performance became a key asset for the band and their future.

With one piece of the puzzle missing, the search for the right drummer began. Matt soon learned that his high school jam partner, Daniel Smith, was teaching drums in Richmond and actively playing gigs around Virginia. The band tracked down Daniel and offered him the job as the band's drummer. Immediately, Daniel meshed with the group on many levels.

Under the Flood has formed and their connections are deeply rooted. Their goal is to establish a similar connection with their fans by delivering the highest level of energy at all live performances. The band finished the production of their debut album, "The Witness," with Brian Craddock of Daughtry, in the summer of '06. The full length album is now available! Under The Flood will follow this release with an onslaught of live touring in 2007. Beware of the rising tide...

    Hardcore Annal Sects

Whacked-out rockers Mr. Bungle took their name from a corny children's educational film from the '60s about bad manners that was made popular in Pee Wee Herman's 1981 cable TV special, The Pee Wee Herman Show.
