At age 16, Chris decided to take singing seriously and pursue it professionally. Married with children, Chris was part of a band called Absent Element and worked customer service in an otherwise ordinary life. His inspiration in music ranges from Richard Marx to Rob Thomas and he calls his wife his "Hero" in life. Chris is from McLeansville, NC and in 2006 tried out for American Idol - Season 5.
