The Los Angeles based band Rumblefish is a high-energy rock machine with a taste of hip-hop in their music. Broken down, their music consists of a combination of hard guitar riffs, funky beats, and dark samples. The lead vocalist, Mike Ryan, flips melodies with raw screams and hip-hop style rapping. His counterpart, Dom Pontiac is unique in his raggamuffin rapping style and stands out as one of a kind.
Rumblefish is a band that through their versatility explodes the stage with an intoxicating energy that has proven to draw the listening ear of many. The Fish have rocked crowds with bands such as Linkin Park, The Kottonmouth kings, Hed PE, Crazytown, and Mudvayne. Shows that left many fans breathless and fulfilled all in one set.
The Fish combined with Possum and Jason from Hot Sauce Johnson in earyly 2000 to start this new sound. Not long after, bass player Jesse Goddman joined the band. They teamed up with Roy Mayorga of Soulfly and put out their first demo. Since then The Fish have recorded more songs and have written many more. The love of music is what keeps these six different individuals determined to show the world what they got.
