The Gauntlet: Pissing Razors

Pissing Razors Bio

Pissing Razors   Band Members

Joe Rodriguez - Vocals
Cesar Soto - Guitars
Rick Valles - Bass
Eddy Garcia - Drums

Subgenres:

Despite its non-compromising sound "Fields Of Disbelief" is PISSING RAZORS' most personal album yet since all band members contributed to the songwriting.

The title track is about Cesar's (g) father who died of Alzheimer's. Being Mexican the family members are devout Catholics, but all the praying and hoping did not make any difference in the end. Cesar's father passed away last year.

It's also worthwhile to pay attention to the other lyrics. "You Never Know" is about the sudden death of a friend who drove off a bridge after partying with the guys last Christmas Eve.

"Out Of Control" reminds us not to take our personal relationships for granted but to also go out of your way to make it work.

"Choices" is about a friend of Eddy (dr), who quit the rock business in order to take over his father's business. Even though he now regrets his decision, he cannot find a way out of his daily routine.

In summer 2000, Creed frontman Scott Stapp was awarded the first Fatherhood Hall Of Fame Statue by the advocacy group Women For Fatherhood. Stapp's son Jagger inspired the Creed single "With Arms Wide Open," which came from their 1999 album Human Clay.
