Medication is a hard rock/metal band from Los Angeles, featuring Whit Crane (Ugly Kid Joe, Life Of Agony) on vocals, Logan Mader (Machine Head) and Blunt (Adayinthelife) on guitar, and Kyle Sanders on bass.
The band was founded early 1999 by Whit and Logan, who soon hooked up with Blunt and ex-Soulfly drummer Roy Mayorga. Bassist Kyle Sanders joined late 2001. Logan Mader once described Medication's music as 'hard hitting from start to finish and very dynamic and hypnotic through to the end. It's really heavy, and Whit sings with amazing melodies.'
Medication played a UK tour in November 2001, even before any music was released. Their 5-track debut EP will be released in April 2002 through Locomotive Music. Before the recordings of Medication's first full length album, drummer Roy Mayorga left the band. The full album is stated for a summer release.
