Manifest sprung up out of the small town of Marysville, by practicing for hours upon end, in an old beat up shed that they had fixed up and soundproofed (to its fullest extent) by themselves. Living and practicing in a residential area, they quickly got to know the majority of the local police officers who came to shut them down after a few hours into practice each day.

Manifest started out by playing at school shows, small clubs, and local parties. Yet, it didn't take long for them, and others, to realize that they were meant to be something much bigger than just a local band. Energized by the crazed fans, outstanding reviews, and delighted critics, Manifest began to create an arsenal of songs, each with its own unique style and sound.

Not long after the construction of their thirteen original songs, Manifest cut their first CD at a small recording studio in downtown Sacramento. After re-mixing, digitally mastering, and designing the CD art, their CD went into production. Finally after six months of hard work, the CD, titled The Pattern Is Growing, became available to the public. Promoted by flyers, sales at shows, and the CD distribution by stores such as The Underground and Tower Records, Manifest quickly earned a whole new array of fans that are going ballistic over a band that seems to be the next big thing. Manifest has created a style of their own.
