From the depths of Central Florida has risen a maniacal cast of characters undoubtedly focused on the perfect fusing of rap with progressive metal, hardcore, funk and jazz. Known as "Local Porn Star," these talented individuals have spent their time together creating some extremely intricate musical pieces, involving an abundance of musical theory. Performing in front of large energetic crowds in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Tampa Bay and everywhere in between has become a trademark of "Local Porn Star." A trait recently netting them the award of "Best Live Show" as voted by music fans and the Florida Today newspaper's T.G.I.F. entertainment section.
Comprised of 5 members, "Local Porn Star" contains musicians from vary diverse backgrounds. Allan brings his intense and emotional melodies while Matt contributes old skool hip-hop feel to his raps and new skool hardcore angled screams and tantrums. In turn, the groove is accurately kept together by Justin's phenomenally creative bass riffs and Ian's pin-point precision mastery of the hip-hop, metal, and hardcore drumming genres. Last, but not least, is Brent on guitar. Brent brings on eerie feel with his spooky guitar riffs which are an original crossbreed of many different styles. The byproduct of this musical union is a sound unheard and a feel uncomparable to any other.
