Inner Surge is a heavy, melodic six-piece collective from Calgary, Canada. Heavy and emotionally driven, their musical style is a hybrid of metal, rock, hip hop and cultural influences. Inner Surge's music is primal, powerful and honest. It speaks of a new program of awareness for humanity, and is influenced by great freedom fighters such as Malcolm X and causes like Free Tibet. Inner Surge was originally created by Steve Moore. He wrote and recorded Inner Surge's debut CD entitled " Solus Verum ". Now, Inner Surge is a family of six dedicated musicians, each with much to offer. Inner Surge's live show is an intense experience. The live band is Steve Moore on vocals and hand-drums, Frank Gallant on bass, Brad Harms doing back up vocals and playing guitar, Kelly Tomes on guitar and keyboards, Vince Drouin on the drums, and Shaun Friesen adding didgeridoo, hand-drum, and media clips. What sets Inner Surge apart from the rest is it's passion, drive and raw honesty. With a rapidly growing fanbase, it seems that many agree.
