The Gauntlet: BlackWine

BlackWine Bio

BlackWine   Band Members

Vocals: Marty Wong
Guitars: Michael Lui
Guitars: Jovi
Bass: Sam So
Drums: Jim

Subgenres:

All started from the internet, isn't it amazing?

Marty and me met thru internet. Marty introduced Sam as bassist and
I introduced Jon as drummer and Paul as lead guitar. Very soon we
had many opportunities to perform around. We've been played at
AK Bar, Citydancer, Warehouse, Harbourfront.....Paul left us at 1999 May.
Since then we haven't have another guitarist joined. But very lucily,
we have many friends who willed to give us opportunities to perform
in many places like Millelium Countdown Party, City U, Open Ceremony
for totallyhk.com, we also played as guest band for Gold Coast Band-
Sound Festival Contest. Jon left after the Millenium. Jim joined after few
months and this is also the line up now. We were very luckily to play
lots of shows, like annual show of City U, RepulseBay Rock n Roll Cannival,
Ondot weekly bandshow, SamSung anycall's Live.
Without our freinds, we might have disappeared long time ago just like
many other bands out there. Once again I appreciated their helps.
Now, we're working hard on our Debut CD. We hope there's opportunity
to see you very soon, and hope you keep supporting us. Thanks.

Michael

    Hardcore Annal Sects

As Nirvana's Nevermind album was breaking nationally, the group was invited to appear on MTV's Saturday night heavy metal show Headbanger's Ball. Pretending to take the show's title literally, Kurt Cobain went on the air dressed in a ruffly pink ball gown
