Metal Blade Records has officially inked a worldwide deal with the Tampa, Florida's The Absence! Having previously self-releasing an EP that received great praise, The Absence will be taking the world by force with their upcoming full length and live shows; laying waste to all in their path and carving their name in the world of melodic metal. The band will enter Manna Studio's on April 10th with Erik Rutan (Into The Moat, Soilent Green, Hate Eternal) producing their first full-length release for Metal Blade records due out in the fall of 2005. The Absence will be touring relentlessly both nationally and abroad in support of their debut release so make sure to catch them live as you are sure to be blown away!
The Absence has played shows with such national acts as CANNIBAL CORPSE, IMMOLATION, GRAVE, SIX FEET UNDER, MASTODON, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, NAPALM, DEATH, SUPERJOINT RITUAL, DARK TRANQUILITY, GEORGE LYNCH, UNEARTH, NILE and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD.
