Ypsilanti, Michigan isn't known for anything. Chances are if you're not from Michigan you've never heard of it, but in Ypsilanti, there is a 5 piece band known as Bloodlined Calligraphy. Combining the sounds of hardcore and metal with some of the most devastating breakdowns ever heard, every song from the band is an exercise in destruction. With constant touring the band has built a steady fanbase and have shared the stage with a ton of great bands like, Zao, Darkest Hour, 18 V, Throwdown, The Hope Conspiracy, Walls of Jericho, Underoath, and many more. With signing to Facedown the band plans to continue to tour constantly and to spread their music to the masses. Look for the band to be coming through a town near you soon. Bloodlined Calligraphy has released one full length album "Say Hi to the Bad Guy"on Michigan's Selah Records. The record was recorded with their former vocalist, Matt Fleming.
Summer 2004 brought the release of BLC's "The Beginning Of The End" CDep on Facedown imprint label - Strike First. The band is currently writing for their debut Facedown full length which is due out in the first half of 2005.
