What's up folks! Big news once again from the Neaera camp.
As you might have read in the "Shows" section, Mother Russia is calling, and Neaera will heed the call, :-)! We are thrilled to announce that on December 2nd and 3rd, we will be playing two concerts in Russia. St. Petersburg and Moscow are the targets that have been chosen to be darkened by the metal cloud (of armpit stench)! We can't wait!
Also, we have the honor of announcing that we have been confirmed to play the legendary WACKEN and WITH FULL FORCE festivals in 2007. We are really looking forward to playing these great festivals, and we hope for many people to come and party with us!
Even though it may be a little late, we want to say a big THANK YOU to all the heads that came out to see us on our small tour of Austria that we did with our friends of MISERY SPEAKS. You guys really tore off the roof, literally (This means you, Lustenau...)!
For those that want a little of NEAERA under the Christmas tree: We will be part of the VAINSTREAM SANTA CLAWS NIGHT tour which is scheduled to take place from the 25th to the 30th of December this year. We will be joining great bands such as CALIBAN, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, AS WE FIGHT, DEADLOCK, MISERY SPEAKS and FIRE IN THE ATTIC, so grab hold of a ticket ASAP!
Last but not least: We are currently in the middle of the songwriting process for our next record. Everything's running smoothly, five new songs are already finished, and we are aiming for a studio date sometime between late spring and early summer '07.
We will of course keep you updated on other festivals and shows as the schedule unfolds, so keep checking the page!
