The Gauntlet: Battlelore Metal News

BATTLELORE Enter The Studio To Record The Last Alliance

Battlelore Finland's BATTLELORE have issued the following update:

"Hello all!

Battlelore started the recordings of their fifth album earlier today at Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland, with the producer Janne Saksa.

The working title of the new album is The Last Alliance.

Within the next four weeks Battlelore will record and choose up to 9/10 songs from their material to be on this fifth voyage through Middle-earth. The album will then be mixed and mastered by the legendary Dan Swanö.

Songtitles set to be on the album are: 'The Last Alliance', 'Exile The Daystar', 'Daughter Of The Sun', 'Third Immortal' and 'Voice Of The Fallen'.

The new material is bigger, better and more epic with a few surprises such as the use of Tomi’s clean vocals. The band itself describes the new songs as a beautiful combination of Sword’s Song and Evernight, where all the typical musical elements of Battlelore are combined in a new and also unexpected way.

Needless to say, the whole band is very enthusiastic and exited to be recording these songs.

Prepare for the album of a lifetime, this one will not disappoint you!

There will be a studiobook running here so keep on checking for photos, texts, videos…"

Kirk Hammett of Metallica was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and walked into Cabo Wabo while the Mexican band Vitamin T was playing a cover of 'Until It Sleeps'. Hammett walked over and grabbed a guitar and jammed along with the band.
