The Gauntlet: Lacuna Coil Metal News

Lacuna Coil confirmed for Download 2006


Lacuna Coil Century Media are extremely pleased to be able to announce that Lacuna Coil have been confirmed to play at this years Download Festival at Donington Park in June (9-11th).

Making this their second appearance at Download, Italian gothic rockers Lacuna Coil are set to make 2006 their most successful year to date. Since last year's Download performance Lacuna Coil have played a sold out tour of the UK, singer Cristina Scabbia has become the pin-up of the rock world and now the band are gearing up release their highly anticipated new album ‘Karmacode' on 3rd April, which is poised up to be one of the hottest releases of 2006.

With rock giants Guns N' Roses and Metallica confirmed as headliners of Download 2006, Lacuna Coil will be in fine company at this years event with these bands having already been confirmed to play : Korn, The Prodigy, Deftones, Clutch, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, InMe, Within Temptation and Hatebreed across the three-day festival.
