Kamelot Cancel Festival Appearance
According to a posting at their official website, US power metallers KAMELOT will not be performing at the Ragnarock Festival in Oslo, Norway this August 18th-19th. KMI Entertainment's Tim Norwood states "We have yet to receive a contract or deposits for this festival. It is unfortunate for the fans since the band was very excited about coming to Norway again, it is simple out of our hands at this point. It also means that we have to reschedule the Helsinki show that was booked in connection with Ragnarock. We are in the middle of planning the European tour for Spring 2007 and we are planning a full run through Norway and Finland."
As previously reported, W.A.S.P. and TWISTED SISTER have also dropped off the Ragnarock bill.
Acts scheduled to perform at the festival now include: August 17th (Thursday) - THE CARBURETORS, HIGHLAND GLORY, ENSIFERUM, MASTERPLAN, GOTTHARD, HELLOWEEN, WITHIN TEMPTATION.
August 18th (Friday) - TORMENT, ASTRAL DOORS, WITCHHAMMER, POWER QUEST, CORNERSTONE, JORN, PARAGON, MORGANA LEFAY, VIXEN, plus headliner tba.
August 19th (Saturday) - THUNDERBOLT, COMMUNIC, HANOI ROCKS, CHINCHILLA, BRAINSTORM, PAGANS MIND, EDENBRIDGE, NEVERMORE, SATYRICON, AXEL RUDI PELL plus headliner tba.
