With the recent release of the band's first DVD entitled 'Salvation,' West Virginia thrashers BYZANTINE have made the track "Cradle Song" available on iTunes. Only available on the DVD, and not featured on the band's forthcoming new record, the track is available for purchase here (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=250501616&s=143441). Featuring a live film performance, bootleg performances, interviews and behind the scenes footage and more, 'Salvation' is now available through Prosthetic Records and a trailer for the film can be seen on BYZANTINE's MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/byzantine).
BYZANTINE recently took a short break from recording with producer Charles A. Fisher in Sissonville, WV to join up with God Forbid, Arsis, Goatwhore and Mnemic for a brief trek throughout the eastern US. The band is currently wrapping up recording for the forthcoming effort, 'Oblivion Beckons,' tentatively due out this summer.
