BYZANTINE is bringing their crushing, signature sound to the live masses once again through their headlining jaunt on the "Under The Underground" tour, alongside Halo of Locusts (featuring Lamb of God's D. Randall Blythe) and The Dream Is Dead. BYZANTINE will be supporting their ground-breaking and well-received "...AND THEY SHALL TAKE UP SERPENTS album, released through Prosthetic Records earlier this year.
"We are truly ecstatic about hitting the road with Halo of Locusts and The Dream Is Dead," BYZANTINE guitarist/vocalist Chris Ojeda said. "D. Randall Blythe and Lamb of God gave us our start three years ago and now to be able to tour with his other band Halo of Locusts is amazing. We have truly come full circle and cannot wait to take this three-ring circus into your town and destroy it."
With their all-encompassing, but surely heavy metal sound, BYZANTINE is sure to bewilder and entertain crowds of metalheads the country over with their jaw-dropping musicianship along the tour's 23 show dates. Starting in Cleveland, Ohio and wrapping up just next door to the band's West Virginia stomping grounds, BYZANTINE plans to let their music do the talking for them.
Also be sure to keep an eye out for the premiere of the "JEREMIAD" music video, to debut soon on video outlets across the country like so stay tuned to "Headbanger's Ball," "Metal Asylum," "Uranium" and the whole lot! The track is the first song off 'And They Shall Take Up Serpents selected for video promotion.
"Taking Up Serpents" off BYZANTINE's ...AND THEY SHALL TAKE UP SERPENTS is also now listed as #6 Music Choice's metal channel!
