The Gauntlet: Gorgoroth Metal News

Gorgoroth posts tour update

Gorgoroth King ov Hell has posted the following tour update:

"I am now in Frankfurt, getting ready for the show.

We have done two more German shows now. One in Hamburg (Markthalle) and one in Berlin (K17). Both shows were pretty much packed with people. We had some difficulties with the sound in Hamburg and it were so many people there, it was almost no oxygen left on stage. Due to that we had to cut out the track ‘Possessed By Satan’.

The show in Berlin was way better. Though we had serious troubles with the light-technician. He was a useless and lazy little boy. After addressing him
about how to do his work he actually got so scared he ran away. The result was that we had no light-engineer and 30 minutes left to enter the stage. Luckily enough, the promoters got hold of a new one.

Hence we were satisfied with the show in Berlin in the end. The best show for us so far on the tour.

We have done soundchecking here in Frankfurt by now. Batchkapp is a great venue for our art and it seems like we might be able to deliver true Norwegian Black Metal the way we want to present it!

Our session members Nick Barker, Teloch and Sykelig are getting more into the material each day now and we are soon on the level I want Gorgoroth to be on.

Hail Satan!

King"

Seattle supergroup Mad Season planned on issuing a follow-up album to its 1995 debut, Above, without singer Layne Staley. For reasons unknown, the sophomore effort never materialized.
