TRIVIUM Drummer On Band's Latest Single, Upcoming Japanese Tour

Orlando's own Trivium continues to thrash stages on Family Values 2007, sporting a set that’s packed with highlights from the group's third full-length album, "The Crusade." "We're playing 'Becoming The Dragon' on this tour and that's something we've never played live before. It's getting a really good reaction."
The group has also inserted the latest single/video, "To The Rats" into the set. "It really felt right for one of the singles from the album." said Smith of the track, one of the record’s fastest, most aggressive tunes. "People are really digging it."
Speaking of the video clip for the track, which gives fans a much insight as to what can be expected of Trivium in concert, Smith says, "We wanted people to see what we're really about. It gives you an idea of what we've experienced over in Europe. That's what comes across the most in the video. You get to see what we're really all about."
Trivium will take a short break after Family Values winds down before begins pre-production for its fourth full-length record. "We'll start tracking some demos, just getting ready for the next record." Smith reveals.
Following that, Trivium will return to Japan, head down under for a short stint in Australia and return to Europe, where the group's popularity is soaring. Smith is greatly looking forward to visiting Japan once again, saying "The culture is great and I have a huge case of yellow fever. I love the Asians; I always have a blast over there."
Family Values 2007 takes a short intermission before returning to rock Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Buffalo this Friday evening. Upcoming dates are as follows:
