Trivium sets release date for new album

Trivium has set September 30th for the release of its' 3rd album on Roadrunner Records. The follow up album to 'The Crusade' is rumored to be titled 'Shogun.' You can watch a teaser for the album below. The band began recording the album in Nashville, Tennessee on March 31 with producer Nick Raskulinecz.

i am hoping that this album is gonna be more like ascendency, i am pretty sure most people liked the work on the crusade more, which i think is more progressive and is very good, but i think it was rushed...ascendency is what the original trivium fans love, so if shogun could be a mix between those 2 albums, that would be great,
btw i think the tital name is quite... catchy :)

y'know, they kinda went with the japanese theme with the crusade....the artwork, becoming the dragon, etc., etc. i think it worked out pretty well. no sense in judging the whole album by it's title. why is shogun a bad title? i kinda like it and i like the direction they're headed in. they're gonna be one of the all-time greatest metal bands.

Shogun, not sure if i care for the title, will need to see more of the concept and design and hoiw they tie it all together
