The Gauntlet: Trivium Metal News

Paolo from Trivium checks in

Trivium Trivium bassist Paolo checks in:

"Thank you to everyone that came out to see us on the Family Value's
Tour or at an off date show, we really appreciate it and hoped that you
enjoyed the summer as much as we did! It seems our quick vacation is
coming to an end this week, starting Monday we hit the studio to do
some demos and rehearse for the rest of this year's touring. It's been
quite awhile since we had more than a few days to jam because we
usually just jump from one tour right into another. I am sure we will
be getting pictures up on all the sites, especially www.triviumworld.com,
of us working on the new stuff and rehearsing our set for the highly
anticipated Black Crusade!

But before the first Black Crusade show kicks off in Perth, we are
stopping through Japan for Loud Park 2007 and a few shows with Heaven
and Hell, as well our own headline show in Osaka. We can't
wait to enjoy the food, culture and of course the shows once again.
This will be our third trip over to Japan, and it looks to be the
biggest and best tour there yet!

After that we take a quick 10 hour trip down to our Aussie fans to join
up with Machine Head and Arch Enemy for what is sure to be a legendary
tour!!! Australia has been amazing to Trivium, so we knew we needed to
return one last time before we finished the touring cycle. We are happy
to be able to kick off the Black Crusade down under!

Fast forward a few weeks and we have reached the home stretch of
touring for The Crusade in what is shaping up to be a great end of the
year with the Black Crusade going across the UK and Europe! This will
be the last time you will see us for some time since we will be
starting the new album in early 2008. Thanks for all the support you
give us, we can never thank you enough!! Bring on the Black Crusade!"

Paolo

Chrissie Hynde tried (unsuccessfully) to convince Motörhead drummer Phil Taylor to join the Pretenders in the late '70s prior to finding eventual member Martin Chambers.
