The FX Network is scheduled to air a documentary entitled Revelation 666 on May 9th at 11:59 P.M. The show discusses the end of the world, the antichrist and significance of the number 666 within pop-culture. Along with Society 1 psychologists and occult specialists will weigh in with opinions concerning Satanism and the approaching date 6/6/06.

Society 1 are the only band featured within the special and were asked a variety of questions concerning their use of suspension, symbols and magical rituals that have been integrated into their music and image. Society 1 make connections from LaVey to the Lucifer Principal then all the way to Left Hand Path Hinduism while weaving in their own unique way of delivering interesting and potent remarks concerning the human condition.

Also discussed is the celebration to ring this century's 666 day (June 6, 2006) with The Church Of Satan by headlining the "Satan's Rockin' Eve" event in Los Angeles on Monday June 5th. The show is hosted by www.radiofreesatan.com which Matt "The Lord" Zane and Berzerk Kirk currently have their own weekly show Why Do We Live? This is Society 1's only U.S. performance of the year! The band will then head into the studio soon afterwards to record their next album, "Sadist Messiah" which is due out next early 2007.

Matt "The Lord" Zane had this to say: "With everything I have been asked in interviews before this is the first time I could openly discuss some of my spiritual beliefs and opinions. I remember when I was on Uranium years ago and I said something about Satan after getting the six hooks pierced into my back and they actually edited out the word Satan!?! Left Hand Path belief systems which includes Satanism is still considered taboo by many. I find it hard to believe in this day and age but I suppose old habits die hard. I am pleased to see the the approaching date of 6/6/06 is having mainstream culture wanting to learn more concerning socially banned relgion and philosophies."

Society 1 have also set "The Years of Spiritual Dissent" as the title for their first release through Crash Music, Inc. "The Years of Spiritual Dissent" is a collection of Society 1's first two albums; "Slacker Jesus" and "Words as Carriers", and also includes two cover songs, a brand new track entitled "ThisIs The End", and a bonus DVD. Crash Music has scheduled July 25th for the
street date.
