God Forbid is currently in the studio with Eric Rachel (ATREYU, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) recording the follow up to the group’s most successful offering yet, IV: The Constitution Of Treason. The depth and diversity on this disc is easily going to position the band as of one the most innovative bands within the genre. This is an entirely new God Forbid that have matured beyond their years and are now more focused than ever before.
Doc Coyle (guitars, vocals) has also setup an in-depth studio blog and he further states: “Hey guys, our friends at Revolution Music in Denmark have given us an opportunity to keep all of our fans up to date on the recording process of the new album. Click here to hear about the progress. Enjoy!”
God Forbid kicks off their 2008 worldwide touring schedule with a massive co-headlining North American tour, dubbed In Thrash We Trust, with DEATH ANGEL this spring. The trek, which kicks off on May 1st, also features SOILENT GREEN and LIGHT THIS CITY in the support slots. Fans can expect to hear some new God Forbid tracks.
