THE ACACIA STRAIN lands on Heatseekers chart, readies video from new album

Massachusetts' THE ACACIA STRAIN has entered the Billboard Heatseekers chart at #40 behind strong first-week numbers for the band's new record, 'The Dead Walk'. Moving over 2,600 units first week, THE ACACIA STRAIN is currently on tour with Soilent Green and Demiricous across the United States.
The band's video for "Angry Mob Justice," directed by Dave Brodsky (All That Remains, Bury Your Dead) earlier in May, is now nearing completion and will be online and on video outlets shortly. Sure to showcase THE ACACIA STRAIN's earth-shaking sound alongside its quirky sense of humor, the "Angry Mob Justice" video is sure not to disappoint longtime and new fans alike. In the meantime, the band is in the midst of confirming late-summer domestic touring plans before hitting Europe this fall.
Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage), 'The Dead Walk' features extensive design and artwork from Paul Romano (Mastodon, The Red Chord) alongside the band's bowel-shakingly heavy trademark sound. "There are so many people today who are afraid to take their own stance. So many people just float through life with no meaning. They have no opinions of their own, nothing is theirs," says vocalist Vincent Bennett. "Yet at the same time, there are so many people who are so self-righteous, it's sickening. 'The Dead Walk' focuses on that."
