KING'S X frontman dUg Pinnick has posted the following update at the band's official MySpace page:
"Hello to all of my MySpace friends! Thanks again for being my friends! I have been reading all of your messages and comments. stealing your pictures and listening to some of your tunes. You guys make me laugh, cry, think, you inspire, challenge and encourage me. I read ALL the messages and comments, and I wish that I could answer all of them, but it's just impossible, but I do answer as many as I can.
I am home from the last Kings X tour. It was awesome to play for and meet many of you people at the shows.
In this time that I have off from touring, I plan on writing a few tunes for KX and solo stuff. The project I did with Jeff and Mike from PEARL JAM will be finished soon! They (Pearl Jam) are on a world tour now but since I am home I am planning to do what I have to to finish my vocals which has been the hold up. I am heading back to LA to get in on the mixing of Zero 1, Hal Sparks band that I have been producing with Hal. And, Will Calhoun from LIVING COLOR and I have been talking about doing a record together also.
I just got a memo that KX will be playing the Rock Palast in Germany Oct 20th! This means that there will be more shows booked around that time for you guys living in Europe!
And, we plan on recording a new KX CD with Michael Wagner in the near future also. So that's what's up in my life....I look forward to more of your messages and more new friends here. You guys rock!! Thanks again to all my friends here..may the groove be with you!!"
