DAMAGEPLAN.NET honors Dimebag Darrell Abbott

The Official Damageplan website has posted a memorial to fallen guitar hero "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, who was brutally slain during one of the band's performances at the Alrosa Villa Nightclub last December 8th.
Many within the heavy metal community are showing support for the guitarist that dominated the 90's with Pantera and continued shredding with Damageplan, a new metal project that was formed with his brother, Vinnie "Paul" Abbott following the departure of vocalist Phil Anselmo from the well-known Texas metal act. The band were in the midst of a US tour in suport to their debut album, "New Found Power" when the tragedy occurred.
