The Gauntlet: Death Angel Metal News

Death Angel Frontman Taken to the Hospital With Torn Eyeball

Death Angel All Time Highs has issued the following update:

"During a recording session [Sunday] afternoon [June 24] at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley CA, Mark Osegueda (Death Angel)was rushed to the emergency room after passing out in a vocal booth. While screaming Mark fell forward into a microphone stand that had neither a mic or mic clip on it. The pole went into his eye. He was rushed to the hospital shortly after. The doctors did tests and the beautiful eye is going to make it. No serious injuries occured. Just a torn eyeball. OUCH!!!! ALL TIME HIGHS had to cancel their appearance [Sunday night] in Oakland. Mark will be recovering in the mountains of Idaho and will be back very soon. Everyone pray for our beloved singer and metal icon. And please don't forget to pray for his lovely eyeball as well. See you all on July 6th at Annies in SF."
