Poland's Vader are set to invade the US on a headline tour that will precede the release of their new ep, The Art of War. Beginning October 31, the equal part US and Canadian tour will be the band's first headline performance in many years; their most recent visit as direct support for Kreator earlier this year.
With an extensive recording history that dates back to 1993, Vader are one of metal's most prolific and active bands. Averaging 150-plus shows a year, the band is a favorite of both fans and critics world over. Newly signed to Sweden's Regain Records (US partnership with Candlelight Records), Vader recorded their new MCD The Art of War at Hertz Studio. Featuring four new songs and a video, the recording will set up the next full-length album that the band plan to start recording in early 2006.
