The Gauntlet: Black Sabbath Metal News

New Tony Iommi Tracks posted

Black Sabbath Two tracks from BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi's upcoming solo album, "Fused", have been posted online at ElectricArtists.com. Check out the songs "Dopamine" (mp3) and "Wasted Again" (mp3).

Iommi's third solo album, "Fused" (view cover here) is scheduled for release on July 12 via Sanctuary Records. The cover was designed by U.K.-based designer Hugh Gilmour, who has previously worked on covers for BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, IRON MAIDEN, MOTÖRHEAD, DAVID BOWIE and THE BEATLES, among others.

Joining the BLACK SABBATH guitarist on "Fused" is former DEEP PURPLE vocalist/bass guitarist Glenn Hughes and former JOHN MELLENCAMP drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has also played sessions with the likes of THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, ROD STEWART, ALICE COOPER, BOB SEGER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and countless others. Check out three new promotional photos of Iommi and Hughes: Photo#1, Photo#2, Photo#3. A tour to promote "Fused" will take place later this year after BLACK SABBATH finishes headlining the 10th anniversary Ozzfest tour.
