Kataklysm Offers New Album Update
Commented guitarist Dagenais: "I'm happy to say that we are just about done tracking drums for 'Prevail'. I'm so excited with this album and we are off to a killer start. Max's [Duhamel, drums] performance is outstanding. I've been playing with Max since 1994 and this is by far the best drum recording he has ever made. When I record artists, I push them to the maximum to get the best out of them. On this recording I had to ask Max for a break. Go figure! Anyways, the bottom line is the grooves pound the house, the blast beats are the fastest in the biz and it's intricate; he is a machine! So we're going to go over everything this weekend make sure all is good, then Tuesday Maurizio comes down to lay the law on the vocals. Can't fucking wait!"
