The Gauntlet: Black Label Society Metal News

ZAKK WYLDE AND JIM BREUER TEAM UP

Black Label Society Guitar legend Zakk Wylde and comedian Jim Breuer have teamed up for CRAPSHOOT, a new rock and roll comedy now available exclusively on DVD. The free-flowing show combines Wylde's larger than life persona with Breuer's hilarious comedic skills. The combination of the two results in a hybrid show mixing reality, sketch comedy, improv, and mind-blowing music.

Crapshoot was originally created and produced as a television pilot by David Kister and Murray Oden. They paired Wylde's intense energy and musical gifts with Breuer's freewheeling comedy and hardcore love for rock, while gathering a stellar supporting cast o' characters. Crapshoot features Mad TV's Mo Collins (Mad TV, Arrested Development & The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and a variety of other comedic talent for a well rounded show.

Once the CRAPSHOOT.TV website was launched, featuring a few select clips from the project, the site received over a million hits in its first two months. With such high response, Kister and Oden decided to release the project independently. The result is an unfiltered rock and roll comedy DVD unlike anything on the market.

Zakk Wylde was an unknown teenager from New Jersey when he was discovered by Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. Since that time, Wylde has been Ozzy's lead guitarist. Wylde co-wrote many of Osbourne's multi-platinum albums, including "No Rest For The Wicked," "No More Tears" and "Ozzmosis." In 1998, Wylde formed his own band, Black Label Society, which has sold several millions of units worldwide.

Jim Breuer established himself on the comedy scene with a four-year stint on "Saturday Night Live," and his movie roles include co-starring with Dave Chappelle in "Half Baked." Breuer currently hosts his own radio show, Jim Breuer Unleashed, which can be heard weekday afternoons on Sirius Satellite Radio's Raw Dog Comedy channel.

Crapshoot is available exclusively on-line at CRAPSHOOT.TV. David Kister, Murray Oden, and Chunky B are solely responsible for all the crazy!
