The Gauntlet: Dying Fetus Metal News

Dying Fetus Update on New Album, Drummer Search and Tours

Dying Fetus Dying Fetus have posted the following on the bands official website:

"we know everyone is concerned about the drummer spot, our new album, touring, etc. First off we want to say we are anxious to record and tour after nearly a year off. The demos are going well, and we are spending extra time finalizing the music and composing the lyrics. Our tentative date to enter the studio to record the new album is mid-summer. Secondly, we encourage anyone who is interested in auditioning for the drummer spot to get in touch with us as soon as possible - although we have been holding out to find a permanent member, the show must go on and we have a contingent plan to hire a session drummer if necessary. As far as touring, for now we can only say that we have accepted some very interesting options for later in the year. We will announce names and dates once the details are confirmed! "

A planned collaboration between Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford never got off the ground despite being reported in the press.
